Tampa is home to some fantastic music schools. There is no shortage of students searching on a daily basis for guitar lessons!

Challenges

The level of competition in Tampa is fairly dense, with a number of well established schools. Generating enough traction to rank well in Google Maps within a short distance would be work. Pushing that distance out from the centroid would be even more difficult!

Strategy

Our team took a holistic, white hat (kosher) approach, starting with listing optimizations. We then built out a reputation program for the school, running alongside review solicitation campaigns to keep momentum. At our urging, the client was also able to score some valuable PR spots and local mentions, helping further solidify them as the premier music school in the Tampa area.

Results

Slow and steady wins the race – big time! Not only did our client make huge gains within just a few blocks of their school, they managed to massively increase visibility over a mile away from the school as well!

The result was a large influx in leads, which their sales team handles brilliantly to create a steady stream of new music lovers at a great ROI.
